As a rule of fashion everybody should have a little black dress! Black dresses aren’t just for funerals anymore.

Coco Chanel said it best “Every woman should own a classic, little black dress”. This is such a true statement. Today I’m sharing a few reasons why you should be amongst the 1000s of woman that own the classic closet staple. 

First, its black! Black looks good on everyone! Its probably the most flattering color you can wear. You know the saying black is slimming, if slimming is what you’re going for. I think because black is so classic and chic it’ll make anyone feel confident, sassy, and sexy! 

A little black dress is one of the most versatile pieces you can own! I mean it is literally perfect for any occasion. You can dress it up or down. Wear it to a wedding, to work, or even to a backyard BBQ if the right style is chosen. So, if you think about it, owning a little black dress is an investment!

Little black dresses will never go out of style. No matter the trends or the time, a little black dress will always be the definition of style & class.

Boring black dress days are over. Get creative with your little black dress. Try it with heels, try it with sneakers. Accessorize with a blazer or even a denim jacket. Make it your own & give it flare! I put my own spin on the staple by wearing all black tights, black booties, a dark lip (Milani Matte Fearless), and adding the denim jacket. Giving off a girly-grunge vibe if you will! I felt super cute.
