Bathroom Makeover: Black & White Dream

 Hey Chic Baes,

Man on man have we been busy! If you follow me on Instagram then you know I have a serious love for home decor. I think I get that passion from my mom! Growing up she was always doing something around the house. She would take me to flea markets and we would just shop for home decor items. 

Fast forward years later,  myself along with my husband like to get knee deep into home renovations. It’s also a way for us to spend time together too! I often joke that most of our dates are to Lowes or Home Depot lol! This job almost got the best of us though. Most of the time I’m the one busting up things and praying that it just work out. Sometimes I just go for it and wait until I get to a point of no return and then think to myself  “this may have been a bad idea!” Nonetheless my bae just goes along with the foolishness lol! 

When we first started the job we had to bust up the existing ceramic tile floor which was a mess and then the subfloor was a mess and that was out of our expertise so we had to call in a contractor....smh! Contractor came got the subfloor together and also put down the new flooring which is linoleum. That’s right linoleum! While it is a cheaper option, it was the best option for our family. We think it looks great! After the floors were in the rest was a breeze! The mirrors we already had, we added the wallpaper, towel rack, paint, shower curtain, light fixture, & bamboo & metal towel rack. I’m so very pleased with the outcome!
